4th of July

The 4th of July was very low key for us because we left the next day for Kansas for Lindsey's wedding.  Conley was not a big fan of the fireworks.  He wanted to sit on my lap the whole time.

Sunset Beach 2012

Well, what's new I am behind on updating the blog....  :)

In June, we took a family vacation to Sunset Beach.  Never in my life did I think I would ever be able to pack a car up and drive two and a half hours to a beach.  We stayed at a golf resort about a half mile from the beach.  It rained two out of the four days but we still had a good time.  We golfed, hung out at the beach, ate ice cream every night, and went to an alligator exhibit.  Needless to say, we had an amazing time!!

Happy Father's Day!!

Conley decided to take Cam out to the driving range at Washington Duke Inn on Duke University campus to hit golf balls to celebrate Father's Day.  As you can see by the pictures, Conley is apparently a lefty. For a while now Conley has been into golf.  He frequently wakes up from naps requesting to go outside and play golf.  Thanks to Gramps Conley has his own real clubs.

Lindsey's Bachelorette Party

Lindsey's bachelorette party was an absolute blast!! At the Oread hotel on the University of Kansas campus, we started the night showering Lindsey with some personal gifts and toasted her with her drink of choice, a Dirty Shirley.  The celebration continued in the wee hours of the night at a few local classy establishments.

Let the celebration continue this weekend (July 7th) when Lindsey and Rob tie the knot in Wichita, Kansas!  We couldn't be more excited to share in this special time with two very special people!!

Five years ago today, Cam and I were married in Wichita, Kansas.  Click here to see a video that was played in our wedding ceremony! (I can't get the video to download to my computer so I just video taped it with my phone. So, it's a little ghetto. But you get the point.)

I can't believe it's been 5 years! A lot has changed over the years.  I am so blessed to have such an amazing partner to share my life with! Thank you Cameron for sharing your life with me! Here is to many, many more years of wedded bliss! :)
Love you!

May 2012

Riding bikes around our neighborhood trails

Special treat with my pals

No words for this pic.....:)

During the month of May, Conley and I took a week and a half trip back to Kansas.  Our first stop was Kansas City and Lawrence area.  We had blast! We had a graduation cook out to celebrate Aunt Courtney and Kyle (my cousin) accomplishment of graduating from KU.  It was great to be able to spend some time seeing family and friends.

The second part of our trip consisted of the grandparents taking care of Conley while I went to Lawrence to celebrate my sister Lindsey on our upcoming wedding.  It was so fun to be back on the old stomping grounds.  Life was so simple back in my college years.

Pictures of our trip to Kansas.....
