(Conley likes jumping and I guess his fingers taste good)As Cam and I reviewed the schedule all I could think about was we moved half way across the country for this?? :) I am sooo done with residency and it hasn't even started....
Also, tomorrow I have my first appointment with my new kidney doctor, Dr. Steven Smith. I will be saying a little prayer for Dr. Smith as he is going to take on a hot mess tomorrow. After six years of dealing with my kidney disaster you would think going to doctor's appointments would have become second nature to me. Especially, after the crazy mess of a pregnancy I had. But it seems for some reason I am super nervous for my appointment tomorrow. I am nervous for many reasons like:
1. I hope I like Dr. Smith.
2. The doctor doesn't know anything about my kidney history and I have to fill him in. I will have all of my records. But since it's Cam's first day for residency he can't come to my appointment with me. Cam is a life saver during my appointments because he can tell the doctors what is going on in "doctor terms."
3. What if he wants to keep me on ROIDS? I am so over being on steroids!!
Basically, I could go on and on about the what if's..... I guess I just need to trust that God brought us to Durham, North Carolina, as part of his amazing plan. I will just pray for a miracle that my disease will magically going away or that some brilliant person will find a cure. Either way I would love to be done with this nightmare of a disease. I know it could aways be worse so I will just keep fighting and be thankful for my miracle baby, wonderful husband, great family, and the good health I do have. To be continued after my doctor's appointment tomorrow........

(Conley in his new PJ's---maybe he will sleep longer in new PJ's?? Yeah right...give up that dream)
