Changing Daily

Conley is changing daily.  I can't even believe how much he has changed in just a matter of weeks.  I am amazed at how much he understands what I am talking about and is trying to communicate.  He can point out his tongue and nose when asked and he can brush his hair.  He is such a big boy that now on Monday mornings when I take him to parents morning out class he doesn't even cry when I leave. He just walks right in the class room and starts playing.  I never thought we would get to this point because for about a couple of months Conley would cry almost the whole time at parents morning out and I would come get him early.  Here are some recent pics of him....

Conley loves to play outside with Cam
When Conley gets up from naps he loves to snuggle. :)
Every time I open my computer Conley expects someone to talk back to him. He is a pro at video chat.

The Woodruff's Visit

A couple of weeks ago, Aunt Cortney and Uncle Justin came to visit.  We had a blast! Here are some of the things we did while they visited......
  • The weather was beautiful so we played outside.

~conley loves to drink out of water bottles~
  • We went to Conley's gym class which was so much fun! Even Cam got to come!

  • Of course, we had to take them to the mall indoor play place.

The trip went way too fast but we had a great time! We can't wait to see them again soon! Conley is so blessed to have such an amazing aunt and uncle.

Glory Days

Five years ago, Cam and the Wichita State Shockers were playing in the NCAA basketball tournament.  That year the Shocker's made it to the Sweet Sixteen and continue to be legends in Wichita State basketball history.  Check out the article in the Wichita Eagle today.  Conley and I are so proud of Cam!!

Surprising Aunt Courtney

At the end of February, Conley and I made the trip back to Kansas for my little sister, Courtney's 21st birthday!!  Courtney had no idea we were coming to surprise her.  She was shocked and we had an amazing time celebrating with her.  However, Courtney, my mom, and I got the flu which was a bummer. Check out the pictures of our trip below. (Sorry, I didn't take the many pictures...I was sick)

Sarah and Kelsey Visit NC

I am a bit behind with my blogging but bare with me and I will catch you up on our recent adventures.  The weekend before Conley and I went to Kansas two of my sorority sisters came to visit.  Kelsey made the trip from Chicago while Sarah came from Oklahoma City.  The last time either one of them saw Conley was when he was a couple of months old. We had a blast showing them around our new found favorite places and touring both UNC and Duke campus.  Thanks to Cam and our amazing neighbors, the Mansfield's, I was able to have a little needed girl time! I am so blessed to have such amazing friends! It was sad to say goodbye but the next time I will see them is at Kelsey's wedding in June. Thank you so much for coming to visit girls!! I can't wait to see you both again and to celebrate Kelsey and John's big day!

Check here to see Conley's new trick at the mall play place.
